Jasper Mook started his solo career with a kickstart.
He participated in nationwide TV-show “The Best Singer Songwriter of The Netherlands” and finished at the ‘final six’, playing on national TV. During several preliminary episodes, Jasper showed his great skills as a songwriter and performer. Next to a growing fanbase and online following, he convinced many Dutch music professionals of his talent.
Jasper has been working on his career for many years, writing lots of songs and playing over a hundred shows.
He was the main force of ‘I’ll Pick You Up’, a pop/rock band that shared the stage with bands such as Hot Chelle Rae and We The Kings in major venues in The Netherlands.
As a solo artist, he got invited to play in Barcelona every week, performing in clubs and hotels.
These performances supported his thoughts to spread his wings and aim for an international career as a solo-artist.
Supported by some covers and self-written songs on YouTube, that generated lots of views and comments, his fame is steadily growing. Jasper played his first big tour in The Netherlands in the end of 2013 playing venues like
Paradiso, Tivoli, Oosterpoort, Effenaar and Paard van Troje, Shared the stage with Yellowcard, Megan Nicole and You Me At Six, And in early 2014 he had his first tour in Ireland, followed by shows in the UK.
Jasper released his first single ‘Take Me There’ in September 2013.
The song was mixed by 9-time grammy award winning mixer F. Reid Shippen, and mastered by Tom Coyne (Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Adele). His follow-up single ”What I Miss” came out in January 2014, Jasper recorded an acoustic live EP called ”Home” in the summer of 2014, And released it through a successful crowdfunding on Pledgemusic with help from actor and singer Jared Leto (30STM) and his fans. Jasper Mook seems to be only at the brink of a very special journey.
